Certain ceramic or powdered metal parts are made by pressure-assisted sintering processes, e.g. B. Hot pressing. In the last decade, the cost efficiency of these methods has increased significantly. The development of rapid field-assisted sintering methods has progressed, but the lengthy cooling process is still a problem, especially for large-area parts. To overcome this difficulty, a high-throughput mass production line for hot-pressing large-area components was designed and built.
