Inductively heated high-temperature vacuum sintering furnaces are used in particular for large furnace volumes and application temperatures of up to 2500°C.

In the combined gas pressure sintering process, dewaxing takes place first at low pressure, then sintering at normal pressure and finally further sintering at high pressure.

Hot pressing systems are used for materials that cannot be sintered to high density due to their low diffusion coefficient and when freedom from pores is desired.

With this sintering process, significantly lower temperatures and/or pressing pressures as well as cycle times of a few minutes are sufficient, since heating takes place in the direct passage of current.

Chemical vapor deposition and infiltration is a powerful way to deposit uniform layers with thicknesses ranging from a single atomic layer to several millimeters.
