3rd International Workshop on Spark Plasma Sintering in Toulouse; France

This meeting will provide an opportunity to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the CNRS SPS national platform of Toulouse, which was created in the fall of 2004.
The intention of the workshop remains unchanged with respect to the previous successful ones (1st Edition in Avignon-2008 organized by CREE-St-Gobain, 2nd edition in Capbreton -2011 organized by the French National Research Consortium on SPS).
The purpose of this International Workshop is to give some breakthroughs regarding densification mechanisms, current path, temperature gradients and mould nature / design influence, whatever is the powder bed (conductive or isolating). Joining of different materials and functionally graded materials are also concerned.
The workshop will be held in Toulouse, a Southwestern France city and will be located at the Espace Vanel from 16th (Wednesday) to 18th (Friday) of July.
We will propose a visit to Airbus and of the City of Toulouse on Thursday afternoon. The meeting will end in the afternoon of the 18th (Friday).
